Split – Mostar – Dubrovnik

After picking you up at the meeting point or at your hotel, we will begin our journey with a drive to Bosnia and Herzegovina. On our way to the ancient Ottoman city of Mostar, we will enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Herzegovina rocky hills. In Mostar our local tour guide will introduce you to the great history of this city known as “The window to the Orient”. We will visit the Old Bazaar, full of medieval style colourful shops and craft workshops, but also the Karađoz Mosque and the Church of St. Peter and Paul. After this, we will enjoy a walk along the famous Old Bridge over the emerald Neretva River, built in 1566. We will seize the opportunity to taste authentic Bosnian specialties like ćevapi, burek, kadaif or sip some traditional Turkish coffee. After enjoying ourselves in the beautiful Mostar we are continuing to the little of Blagaj, built by the Buna river. In Blagaj, our guide will take you on a walk to the source of the river and to visit the old Tekija, an important monument of the early Ottoman period, where dervishes performed and still perform their rituals. After the sightseeing we have the option of having lunch at a local restaurant on top of the rocky hill above the river. After lunch time we will enjoy a beautiful landscape drive to Dubrovnik.
